Grant Dental Centre is a value-based clinic that was founded in 1969. Since then, we’ve been serving the community with comprehensive dental services. We take pride in our work, and we have a reputation in the community for being friendly and compassionate. Quality of work is our top priority, and we’re proud of the fact that we have generations of families coming to us. Our dental clinic in Winnipeg has got the resources to provide everything from routine check-ups to major procedures.
Our staff is friendly and highly experienced. You would be amazed to learn that some of them have been with us for 20+ years.

DR. DIANA XI DENG

Dr. Diana Xi Deng graduated in 2002 from the University of Manitoba Faculty Of Dentistry with honours. She then spent a year at the Health Science Centre Dental Clinic caring for patients with complex medical issues, and subsequent years practicing at Northgate Dental Centre. Dr. Deng bought her current practice at 1537 Grant from Dr. Terry Mancer in 2007. She practices in all aspects of dentistry, including aesthetic restorations, endodontics, kids’ dentistry, teeth whitening, and wisdom teeth removal. She speaks English, Chinese, and Tagalog, allowing her to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Deng met her husband, Dr. Jiayan Guan, in Shanghai Medical School. They furthered their education in Medical Research at the University of Western Ontario prior to attending dentistry at the University of Manitoba. Currently, Dr. Guan is one of a handful of oral surgeons in Winnipeg. Together, they provide dental implant treatment, from single tooth restoration to full arch dentures.
Grant Dental Centre was originally established 50 years ago by Dr. Terry Mancer and Dr. Lawrence Stockton. Located in the heart of River Heights, the clinic has long been known for quality dental care. The clinic was recently completely renovated, with central sterilization and new digitalized dental units, and is wheelchair accessible.
Together with her long-serving team members, she strives to provide quality dental care with a gentle touch and a friendly smile. They look forward to having you join their family at Grant Dental Centre.

Dr. Maria Mikos earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Manitoba in 2017. Dr. Mikos is passionate about building strong relationships with her patients and is committed to helping each one achieve a healthy, confident smile in a welcoming and stress-free environment.
A proud mom of her two children, Wyatt and Wells, Dr. Mikos understands the importance of family centered care and enjoys working with young patients just as much as adults.
Dr. Mikos’ goal is to provide personalized care that meets the unique needs of each patient- because every smile is one of a kind. To better serve her community, Dr. Mikos speaks English, Chinese, and Tagalog, making it easier for patients of all backgrounds to feel at home in her care.
DR. SHAUN CORBETT

Dr. Shaun Corbett grew up in Winnipeg and earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from the University of Manitoba in 2015. Upon graduation, he was recognized with the Martin Nevile Award for excellence in caring for pediatric patients and the Outstanding Achievement Award in Operative Dentistry. He then completed a residency at the Health Sciences Centre, gaining advanced training in oral surgery, treating patients with complex medical needs, and providing IV and nitrous oxide sedation.
Dr. Corbett is certified in Invisalign® treatment, helping patients improve their bites and achieve healthier, straighter smiles. He is also trained in using Botox® to treat TMJ disorders and for facial aesthetics. Being fluent in English, Chinese, and Tagalog allows Dr. Corbett to make dentistry more comfortable and accessible for patients of different language backgrounds.
Outside the office, Dr. Corbett enjoys time at the family cottage, fishing and water sports. In the winter, you’ll find him playing hockey or cheering on the Winnipeg Jets.
He’s excited to be part of the Grant Dental Centre team and looks forward to providing patients with comfortable, comprehensive care.

🌎 Denture-Related Therapy - Dr. Tan’s dedication extends to denture-related therapy. She has refined her techniques over the decades to improve the retention & stability of existing dentures and guide new wearers, especially those needing immediate dentures due to functional challenges with remaining teeth.
In addition to English, Dr. Tan speaks Hebrew, Hindi, Punjabi, Russian, Ukrainian, and American Sign Language (ASL), helping patients and families feel understood and comfortable during their visits.
